Library of Congress Visitor Experience
The new Library of Congress Visitor Experience brings sophisticated interactives and media presentations to the nation’s library, revealing the architectural significance of the building, its incorporation with Jefferson’s gift, and the history of our nation’s founding documents.
contribution
I oversaw the production of five pieces in this suite, including the three Creating the U.S. Document Stations, the video that tells the story of Thomas Jefferson’s relationship to the library, and the Creating the U.S. Overture, a 16-foot reactive wall that illuminates the nation’s founding ideas over time. I collaborated with the client on developing the content for these pieces, reviewed all deliverables with them, and managed prototype tests with the client and the A/V integrators. This project also allowed me to work with external developers on the Document Stations, ensuring the translation of the studio’s design and the curator’s content into the final interactive software.
