GRAMMY Museum
Cutting-edge interactive technology provides the platform for a visual and aural celebration of American music, the creative processes in music making, and the history of the GRAMMY Awards in this suite of interactive and environmental installations.
contribution
I produced two interactives for the GRAMMY Museum: the Music Genres Table and the eight In the Studio interactive pods. These projects involved nine internal team members, three contract content developers, two films crews, and eight music producers, over the course of seven months of intensive content development and production. In addition to facilitating technology integration between the A/V integrators’ hardware and in-house Flash software development, I worked closely with the director and curator of the museum to bring about these content-rich experiences as they envisioned them.
In developing the content for these interactives, I wrote treatments, scripts, and shot lists for the filming of the producers/engineers for In the Studio, while managing the development of sample tracks for each activity, and coordinated over 450 song clips, and over 150 images and text descriptions for the Genre Table.
